About Safe Kids

Safe Kids Central Shenandoah Valley is a partnership of organizations, agencies and individuals designed to enhance the work that all partners are already involved in to reduce accidental injuries in children.  We began as a Chapter of Safe Kids Worldwide in 2004 and became a recognized coalition in the fall of 2005.  We are continuously growing and looking for new partners to join our coalition.

We will utilize the areas of expertise of all partners focusing on:

  • Teaching safety to children ages 3 - 14.
  • Teaching safety to parents of children ages 0 - 14.
  • Organizing events.
