The NonProfit Institute includes two components:

- NonProfit Leadership Luncheon Series offering five lectures on current nonprofit issues.
This project is made possible through the collaboration of United Way with James Madison University's Outreach and Engagement, JMU Department of Social Work, JMU Public Policy & Administration, JMU Strategic Leadership Studies, The Small Business Development Center, The Harrisonburg Rockingham Community Foundation and the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce.
