The 2011 Community Impact Campaign Report meeting will be held Nov. 8, 8:30-9:30 am at Harrisonburg High School.
The program will include a pressentation on how United Way partner agencies are addressing the issue of teen pregnancy.
We will also announce the recipient of our very first Live United Award.
All are invited to attend.
Special edition 2011 Campaign t-shirts will be available at the event for a miniimum donation of $10.
The United Way Corporate Volunteer Council is challenging local businesses to become reading volunteers.
Workplace teams of 4-6 people can adopt a local elementary school one morning a week during the month of October to read to a child. Reading time is 8-8:30 AM. Elementary schools are located in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.

9:30 - 10:30 AM. The event will be held at Spotswood Elementary School in Harrisonburg.

Stuff the Bus 2011 will be collecting school supplies August 5-7 at Harrisonburg Crossing and Dayton Walmart. Supplies will be distributed through Harrisonburg City and Rockingham County Public Schools.
