There are various types of campaigns. The most common type is the Work Place Campaign. Information for starting this type of campaign is what is included here.

The first thing you need is the enthusiasm to run a successful campaign along with the commitment and cooperation of your workplace management and employees.

The second would be supplies. Contact the united way of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County for your campaign supplies.

Third would be a game plan:

• How long will my campaign run
  
• Who will be on the campaign team
  
• What will our goal for this year be
  
• How will we get and keep the employees excited about investing in the United Way of
• Harrisonburg & Rockingham County

• What can the United Way staff do to help

Finally, collect the pledge cards. Make sure the donor has their copy, payroll has theirs, and the United Way is given their copy. We will be glad to pick up your campaign packet or you can present it at our office.
